Victoria Beckham is currently celebrating 10 years at the helm of her namesake brand, so it’s no wonder she’s on the cover of Vogue. Following a Beckham family portrait for British Vogue just last month, Victoria now goes solo on Vogue Australia’s latest, exactly two years after her last appearance. Photographed by Bibi Cornejo Borthwick, the designer sports a red lip and look from her Fall 2018 collection, styled by Christine Centenera.
The majority of our forum members weren’t feeling it, however. “I usually like her magazine work — but not every look is going to work, and certainly not that beauty styling. There are moments when you have to accept that you’re not a model, no matter how much you might want to promote your own brand,” noted tigerrouge upon checking out the cover.
“She needs to STOP with these covers. How can anyone in the fashion industry, her designer peers especially, take her seriously with this amount of overexposure? You don’t see the Olsens on covers left, right and centre,” Benn98 chimed in.
“I’m sorry to say this but it looks like her breasts are amputated. That’s all I can see,” said mikel.

“Her face only looks good in certain angles, and the cover here is not one of them,” Perickles voiced.
Nomar wasn’t much of an admirer either: “Unflattering angle and she just looks awkward here.”
But not everyone was unimpressed with the outcome. “I wish the angle was better, but I don’t mind the look,” said dodencebt.
Miss Dalloway pretty much liked the outcome too. “This is not what I expected when I clicked on the thread title! Finally someone did something different with VB. From styling to the makeup, I like it way better than what Edward [Enninful] and his team produced,” she said.
